Shearing    « News   « Home

As every spring, our troupe of New Zealand shearers have come to the farm to relieve the sheep of their winter pelts. In just one day and a half, two boys from the North Island sheared 732 sheep at incredible speed, and the animals are overjoyed at their new found furless state. The wool cannot be used for much, as it is very coarse and fatty, so the two kilos produced by each animal were disposed of for industrial use.
