We are very pleased to announce that our new monovarietal oil Frantoio has received the maximum award – Tre Foglie (three leaves) – in the new Gambero Rosso olive oil guide, Oli d’Italia – I migliore extravergine 2011, which will be presented at Vinitaly in Verona on the 8th of April.

We offer the chance of getting to know our farm and products better through guided tours and tastings. These are done for groups from two to twelve people, on the Corzano side of the farm, late morning on working days. Booking is required on 055 8248179 or agriturismo@corzanoepaterno.it.

During the visit we will illustrate how we manifacture our products while we show you our dairy and our cellar and give you an overview of the farm. After the tour there is a tasting of our wines, olive oil and cheeses, with further explanation of our products and wine and cheese pairing.

The visit and tasting will last about one hour. In good weather the tasting is held on an open courtyard overlooking the farm, at the heart of its activity, otherwise in the tasting room in the adjoining barn. You are welcome to take a walk on one of the many dirt tracks crisscrossing the vineyards after your tasting,

We offer different types of tastings. They all include the tour of the dairy and cellar, and a tasting with our sheep cheeses, traditional local bread, chutneys, water and:

15€ – two wines, sweet wine, olive oil

20€ – four wines, sweet wine, olive oil

25€ – light lunch (all the above plus local charcuterie, olives, salads, biscuits)

11th March 2001 – Slow Wine at the Royal Agricultural Halls and Conference, 80 Vincent Square, London SW1P 2PE, open to the public 4-8 pm, in occasion of the presentation of the first autonomous wine guide Slow Food. 100 Italian wineries awarded with the snail will gather for the guide launch and tasting.

13th/14th March – Terre di Toscana at the UNA Hotel Versilia,Viale Sergio Bernardini già Viale Colombo, 335/337, Lido di Camaiore (LU). Two days of tasting on the Tuscan coast with the best Tuscan wineries.

27-29th March – Prowein International Trade Fair Wine and Spirits in Dusseldorf. A huge wine fair with over 3300 exhibitors from 51countries. We will be in hall 3, stand C49, as part of the Der Feinschmecker stand.

7-11th April – Vinitaly in Verona. You can find us at Italy’s most important wine fair at our usual position in hall 8, stand E5.
