Directions from Pisa airport to the Paterno side of the farm, where Villa Paterno, Fallocchio and Erta are located. IMPORTANT: do not use satellite navigators for the last part of your trip as they could take you to an impassable road.

  • Follow signs for the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno motorway (FI-PI-LI), direction Firenze
  • Stay on  FI-PI-LI for about 60 km
  • Take the exit Ginestra Fiorentina
  • At the first roundabout, take the exit towards Montespertoli, then at the second roundabout take the exit towards Montespertoli again
  • Continue for 5km until you get to to a roundabout, take the second exit
  • Follow the road all the way to the end of the valley, at the T-junction at the end turn left towards San Casciano
  • Climb the hill to San Pancrazio, in the town turn right at the intersection
  • Follow this road for about 1km, then you see a large castle (Il Corno) on your right, and a dirt road with a Via Paterno sign on your left
  • Take the dirt road and follow it SLOWLY until you get to a large gate (4th house down). Drive around the house wall and you are at Villa Paterno. The next house straight down the road is Fallocchio, the one below is Erta

Directions from Pisa airport to the Corzano side of the farm, where the cellar, the dairy, the office and reception, Gina and Corzanello are located

  • Follow signs for the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno motorway (FI-PI-LI), direction Firenze
  • Stay on  FI-PI-LI for about 60 km
  • Take the exit Ginestra Fiorentina
  • At the first roundabout, take the exit towards Montespertoli, then at the second roundabout take the exit towards Montespertoli again
  • Continue for 5km until you gto to a roundabout, take the second exit
  • Follow the road all the way to the end of the valley, at the T-junction at the end turn left towards San Casciano
  • Climb the hill to San Pancrazio, in the town turn right at the intersection
  • Follow this road for about 5 km past the small village of Santa Cristina
  • After Santa Cristina take a left down Via San Vito, a dirt road
  • Take the dirt road and follow it SLOWLY until you get to a large sprawling house after a steep tarmac bit of road, Casa Corzano, where the cellar, dairy, shop and offices are. Drive around the house and straight on to the next building, Corzanello.
