Directions from Pisa airport to the Paterno side of the farm, where the dairy and Fallocchio and Erta are located

 

  • Follow signs for the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno motorway (FI-PI-LI), direction Firenze
  • Stay on  FI-PI-LI for about 60 km
  • Take the exit Ginestra Fiorentina
  • At the first roundabout, take the exit towards Montespertoli, then at the second roundabout take the exit towards Montespertoli again
  • Continue for 5km until you get to the village of Baccaiano, turn right at the T-junction
  • Right after the town take a left direction Certaldo/Fornacette
  • Follow the road all the way to the end of the valley, at the T-junction at the end turn left towards San Casciano
  • Climb the hill to San Pancrazio, in the town turn right at the intersection
  • Follow this road for about 1km, then you see a large castle (Il Corno) on your right, and a dirt road with a Via Paterno sign on your left
  • Take the dirt road and follow it SLOWLY until you get to a large gate (4th house down). Drive around the house wall and you are at Villa Paterno, where the dairy is. The next house straight down the road is Fallocchio, the one below is Erta

 

Directions from Pisa airport to the Corzano side of the farm, where the cellar and Corzanello are located

 

  • Follow signs for the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno motorway (FI-PI-LI), direction Firenze
  • Stay on  FI-PI-LI for about 60 km
  • Take the exit Ginestra Fiorentina
  • At the first roundabout, take the exit towards Montespertoli, then at the second roundabout take the exit towards Montespertoli again
  • Continue for 5km until you get to the village of Baccaiano, turn right at the T-junction
  • Right after the town take a left direction Certaldo/Fornacette
  • Follow the road all the way to the end of the valley, at the T-junction at the end turn left towards San Casciano
  • Climb the hill to San Pancrazio, in the town turn right at the intersection
  • Follow this road for about 5 km past the small village of Santa Cristina
  • After Santa Cristina take a left down Via San Vito, a dirt road
  • Take the dirt road and follow it SLOWLY until you get to a large sprawling house after a steep tarmac bit of road, Casa Corzano, where the cellar is. Drive around the house and straight on to the next building, Corzanello.
